How Atlas protects your documents

Your files are kept in your firm's own OneDrive or SharePoint, and Atlas works on them there.

Your files stay in your firm's folders

Atlas works on the OneDrive or SharePoint folders your firm connects. Your originals stay there. Atlas writes its results as new files and does not overwrite your originals. Your files stay in those folders unless you send them to Atlas for a task. When you do, the content Atlas needs is sent to AI models and may be held in your account's private storage.

Microsoft sign-in

You sign in with your Microsoft work account. Atlas's mail access is limited to the Atlas mailbox alone, by Exchange Online RBAC for Applications. No other mailbox is reachable by the app.

Runs on Microsoft Azure

Atlas Cloud runs on Microsoft Azure. The Atlas web app and database are held in Gradeum's own Microsoft Azure subscription.

Secrets held in a vault

Service secrets for the live services are held in Azure Key Vault.

Encrypted, with an account for each firm

Documents are encrypted at rest with Microsoft-managed keys. Traffic between you and Gradeum is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher). Each firm has its own account.
